It's a Christmas Miracle!

The flyer worked! I received a phone call this morning from one of my friends - Miri has been found! Pixie spent the day at her friend's house almost a month ago and brought Miri over in her bag. My friend read my blog yesterday and saw Missing Puppy post. Then this morning while she was cleaning her daughter's bedroom she found a puppy that didn't belong to them and remembered my post. I honestly had no expectations of ever seeing Miri again. Pixie and I are in fits of joy!

Just goes to show that adults don't always know everything. How wonderful that your daughter was reunited with a beloved toy! It is a good lesson for all....NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!

I hoped you rubbed Adum's face in it for not believing your flyer would work.

So Penny has her own gmail account. I advise that you delete SPAM regularly lest someone ask for her piggy bank routing information so that 40 pounds British sterling can be deposited. She may not know it's really a scam.

Yippee!

I don't think you need to gloat overtly. You're well on your way to permanent Favorite Parent status with this one, and I"m sure he knows it.

Hooray! I thought for a few sentences there we were talking about a real dog and I was wondering how it ever survived (not to mention went undetected for that long) in a little girl's bedroom.

Last July 4 my brother and SIL were in town with my nephew, age 4. We were at the church, and it is believed he tossed his puppy in the bushes on the side of the building. We looked, never found it and I forgot about it.

A couple of weeks ago my brother called to see if I had found the puppy and if not, if I could look by the bushes again. You know, now the leaves had fallen and all. I said sure, but then I thought about how weather worn that puppy must be by now exposed to the baking sun and some solid rain and even now a couple of good snow storms.

Do you really think they would want it back in that condition?
