Week Off

My week of freedom and irresponsibility is off to a great start. Here's what I've accomplished in the first 8 hours alone:

A great cardio and weights workout at the gym this morning

An hour or so of work doing my apartment manager thing

Listed junk to sell on eBay

Reserved one free ticket to the Leno show taping on Wednesday with Heidi Klum and Arnold Schwarzenegger as the guests (I'm a major Project Runway fanatic!)

Upgraded to a new fancy cell phone

Custom ordered some sweet Converse high tops

Hit the new H&M in Old Town Pasadena. Luckily, the store has been open for almost two weeks so I only had to wait an hour to get a fitting room. Yes, it's as good as advertised!

Bought and consumed a 10 pound scallops burrito from my favorite Mexican dive, Senior Fish

Although I did have an awful nightmare last night that my child was being kidnapped and Spike was AWOL, I think it's safe to say I'll survive the week without them relatively well. My bank account, on the other hand, might have some problems.

Gotta go eat candy and wiggle my toes. Later skaters!

Here, on top of all that, go to sock-dreams.com and buy yourself some socks. And I don't mean just ANY socks, I mean over the knee, striped TOE socks. This is the only place i've ever found thigh high socks, NOT STOCKINGS, socks. They rock. Rock the socks.

Draino - please tell me that you don't wear these!

Or is this just a ghastly Halloween joke? I'll give you $100 if you show up at the 10 year reunion next summer wearing these puppies with a mini-skirt. Cross my heart.

I'm glad you're having so much fun, Sarah! Go ahead and spend all your $$ - it's your birthday week. :)

Dude, I would totally wear those. Actually, though, the ones that I bought that I'm totally in LURVE with are these. They look awesome in "autumn" with a tan suede skirt and a cream turtleneck. You know, things you wear in places with seasons?

And I could TOTALLY use a hundred bucks...

Money and alone time do not do well together in my home either...

Enjoy your shopping spree...and your time alone too.

I checked out your eBay feedback. Why in the world did you have all the birds? And someone bought them? Just goes to show ya, you can get ANYTHING on eBay.
