Can you guess what I'm going to be?

She already has an evil laugh. . .love it. And I guess that's a Planet of the Apes costume? maybe? unless I'm wrong, in which case I take back my answer, and submit the correct one. . .I can do that, right?

gorilla? big foot? hairy princess? (spoof on "fairy" princess)

I LOVE the "hairy princess" idea! I may have to make some modifications to the costume...

DID YOU MAKE THAT COSTUME? You can't have made all those little black leatherette claws, could you?

Hey Sarah,
This is Joe, Brittany's husband. Anyway, I heard about a lady on the radio who blogged her everyday life events and was offered a book deal and something from Nik TV. Was that you? Your blog kills me.

I just love Halloween! Already had a "dress rehearsa" with the kids as far as costumes go. It went well! To celebrate, I broke open a bag of Halloween candy after the kids were in bed.

SO CUTE. My little girls heard the baby laughter and made me replay the vid 6 times and they giggled each time.

Hysterical. Nothing like baby laughter/crying.

It made my baby cry.

That is pretty funny! I don't even have an outfit for Zara. We were thinking of gutting a pumpkin and cutting arm, leg and head holes out of it and just sitting her in it but I feel kind of bad about that.

I can't see the video, but the photo is adorable. What a darling Baby Kong!

My guess is that you're going to be the building that King Kong climbs up in the movie...since, ya know, you're the mom and you'll be carrying her around all night anyway so you might as well make it part of your costume...
Do I win a prize?! ;o)

Eskinose, you are a genius! I was just going for boring old gorilla but I'm totally going to use your idea instead! I've got my pattern for a Chrysler building dress and hat all sketched out and am going to hit the fabric store tomorrow. AWESOME idea!

Hmm.. upon further research, it looks like King Kong climbed the Empire State building, not the Chrysler. Too bad, the Chrysler would be a MUCH better costume! Maybe I'll risk it and see if anyone notices.

I don't think people will know which building is which. And you could even have your baby carry a small doll (like a polly pocket or something) to add to the authenticity! He He! I'm not a genius...I just LOVE Halloween. This year my family is going as the 4 elements(fire, water, earth, wind). I'll have to send you pictures!
Oh my gosh, I'm dying here. That was hilarious.

That baby has a neck that just BEGS to be nibbled. Or maybe I'm just feeling the Halloween spirit . . .
