The Pros and Cons of Turning Three

Pro: Getting to go to a Disney Princess Breakfast at Disneyland and hobnobbing with all your favorite princesses as you eat scrumptious pastries

Con: Having to share the limelight with your camera hog little sister

Pro: Your mom makes you a special "3" birthday cake with deluxe chocolate frosting

Con: The cake inevitably ends up looking like a huge dookie and guests are less than enthusiastic to eat it.

Pro: Presents galore, Barbies, movies, games, you name it.

Con: Mom tries to pull a fast one and slip a present in there for herself. Unfortunatly, you have no desire to watch "The Best of She-Ra Princess of Power and He-Man" on 2 disc dvd despite Mom's argument that it's a "classic."

So the jury is out on whether turning three is worth it or not. I guess next year we'll try four instead.

I loved She-Ra as a child. Someday your daughter will appreciate your classic tastes. She-Ra could beat up any one of those Disney Princesses ANY DAY.

Oh, how fun! Can I be 3 again?

Luke was all thrilled when he turned 4, only to have his cousin turn 5 a month later. For 11 months we heard him whine how 4 wasn't all that and *when* was his next birthday? UGH
I am probably about 7-10 years older than you based on your She-ra He-man trick. We have treid to get our kids hooked up with the classic version of Superfriends and old Scooby Doo. Why would they want that when they can watch action-packed Power Rangers Season 418 and computer animated farting Scooby Doo? Grandma bought them a He-Man disk and they love it, though. The animation is terrible. Have you watched it recently? Seriously, you will wonder what you ever saw in Hunky Adam. By the power of grayskull, I HAVE THE POWER, not Adam, Prince of Eternia!

The great thing about 3 year old girls in they love anything princess related. The bad thing about 3 year old girls is they love anything princess related. :)

I am SO jealous in so many ways! She-Ra rocks! I'm gonna have to get that one for myself...

I was at Disneyland on my birthday and I had no pastry & princess breakfast! Which dwarf do you have to know to get in on that?

Do you have any cake left? Your chocolate cake is the best ever--and I am not exaggerating! Especially if you made buttercream frosting. Oh, how I want some chocolate cake!
